Uber Raises $3.5 Billion From Saudi Fund


Uber raised $3.5 billion from the investment arm of oil-rich Saudi Arabia sovereign fund, in one of the largest-ever investments into a privately held start-up. The Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment firm now will get a seat on Uber’s board of directors. After this largest funding into a global transportation company, Uber is now valued at close to $68 billion company.
